At CETEST we measure and analyse vibration levels in components and subassemblies for compliance with standards and limits.

For example, we calculate FRF (Frequency Response Function) to determine the vibration transmission between different components and suspension stages. This data means we can detect major problems and adjust simulation models.

we can analyse and compare the PSD (Power Spectral Density) against reference curves.

CETEST also performs order tracking. This analysis compares the vibration levels in the frequency domain with the rotating speed. It is a useful tool in the detection of failures on rotating elements.

Furthermore, we can analyse and compare the PSD (Power Spectral Density) against reference curves. The corresponding PSD is then calculated from the accelerations measured on-track under operating conditions. This PSD is compared with the reference curve established by the functional test in standard IEC 61373 to determine whether the component being studied experiences a normal vibration level.
